About Charging
1. When charging UPS float, please use a charging voltage of 2.275V/cell (set at 20 ℃) for constant voltage charging or a current below 0.002CA for constant current charging. When the temperature is below 0 ℃ or above 40 ℃, it is necessary to correct the charging voltage. Starting from 20 ℃, for each degree of change, the voltage of a single cell changes by -3mv.
2. During cyclic charging, the charging voltage is set at 2.40-2.50V/cell (set at 20 ℃) for constant voltage charging. When charging at temperatures below 5C or above 35 ℃, starting from 20 ℃, adjust the charging voltage by -4 mv/cell for each degree of change.
3. The initial charging current should be controlled below 0.25CA.
4. The charging capacity is set to 100-120% of the discharge capacity, but when the ambient temperature is below 5C, it is set to 120-130%.
5. The lower the temperature (below 5 ℃), the longer the charging end time, and the higher the temperature (above 35 ℃), the easier it is for overcharging to occur. Therefore, especially during cyclic use, it is better to charge within 5 ℃ to 30 ℃.
6. To prevent overcharging, try to install a charging timer or automatically switch to trickle charging mode.
7. The battery temperature should be controlled within the range of -15 ℃ to+40 ℃ during charging.
About discharge
1. Please control the battery temperature within the range of -15 ℃ -+50 ℃ during discharge.
2. Please control the continuous discharge current below 3CA (H controlled below 6 ℃ A).
3. The discharge termination voltage varies with the magnitude of the current, roughly as follows. When discharging, the voltage should not be lower than the following voltage.
4. Please charge quickly after discharge. If accidentally discharged, please charge immediately.
Installation precautions
When installing a battery, please make sure to follow the following instructions:
1. Do not install batteries in sealed spaces or near fires, as there is a risk of explosion and fire.
2. Do not cover the battery with things like ethylene film that may cause static electricity, as static electricity can sometimes cause explosions.
3. Do not install batteries in areas where water may enter, as there is a risk of electric shock and fire.
4. Please do not install batteries in environments exceeding -40 ° C to 60 ° C.
5. Do not use batteries in areas with dust, as it may cause a short circuit in the battery.
6. When using the battery inside the box, pay attention to air circulation.
7. Do not have sticky or labeled objects pressing on the top cover, as there is an exhaust valve underneath the top cover, and the gas generated inside the battery will not escape.
8. The number of parallel connections - When floating charging, plug-in terminal batteries can only be associated with a maximum of three columns, and bolt fastening terminals have no special restrictions, but the number of parallel connections is small and reliability increases. In addition, when connecting in parallel, it is necessary to consider making the wiring conductors and contact resistance between each column equal. In order to maintain balance between the charging and discharging batteries in each column, please do not exceed three columns in actual use.
9. When using batteries with different capacities, new and old, and different manufacturers at the same time, due to their different characteristic values, it is possible to damage both the battery and the machine. Therefore, please avoid using them.
